Start Licence

This information is from the KNWV
Everybody who wants to sail regattas in 2006 registered as “person in charge” (Rule 46), needs a start licence. In this new situation the 'registration letter' is dropped for the new start licence. The automatic link between the boot and competitor will disappear with this implementation.

MEASUREMENT SYSTEM

Measurement procedure:

• Catamaran is measured by a measurer (see below)
• The measurement costs are payed to the measurer
• The measurer sends the measurement-letter to the home adress of the sailor
• The measurer sends a copy of the measurement-letter to the Dutch F18 Ass.
• The sailor has to send a copy of the measurement letter to the KNWV
• The KNWV sends a invoice to the sailor for a starting-licence
• After payment to the KNWV the sailor will receive the starting-licence

The following is only intended for the dutch F18 sailors.

As you all know the Dutch F18 Organization has handed over the measurement certificates to the KNWV, dep. Member service.
To take away any indistinctness we will inform you about the procedures regarding measurement, buying and selling a catamaran.

Here you find the latest Excel document with all the Measurement letters that are known by F18 organization.
Some measumentform numbers won't be correct, because certain names appear more then once in this document!
